Girls Program Overview:

Club Philosophy:  
The Chester Mendham Lacrosse League is a non-profit 501C3, recreational lacrosse club.  We maintain that there is a place for everyone in the Chester Mendham Lacrosse program, regardless of your daughter's skill, experience or athletic ability.  All she needs is a desire to play and a willingness to respect the game.

At the girls lower grade levels, the emphasis will be on having fun, learning the tradition of the game, skill development and either inter-squad or mini-tournament level competitive play.  At the older levels, checking is introduced in the girls game and games are more competitive.  The emphasis will be on skill development, fun and preparedness for games. 

No prior lacrosse experience or special athleticism is required.  Good sportsmanship on the part of all players, coaches, and fans are always the standard.
 

US Lacrosse Youth Membership:
The New Jersey Junior Lacrosse League requires that each player, coach and program have US Lacrosse Association insurance and membership.  League games will not be sanctioned under US Lacrosse Youth Council guidelines without this coverage due to liability concerns.  Therefore, Chester Mendham Lacrosse requires that all players be registered.  This membership provides the league insurance and players a subscription the quarterly magazine Lacrosse.  To simplify the registration process for you, we have integrated the US Lacrosse registration form and payment into our registration process.

Girls Registration Dates: 

Chester Mendham Youth Lacrosse registration for the Spring 2022 season will begin in December.  You may register online at CMLax.org.  We ask that you register on time because our ability to order enough uniforms, schedule games, recruit sufficient coaches and fields depends on our knowledge of the number of players that will play on each team.  Uniform orders close NEW DATE TO BE PROVIDED.

Girls Registration Fees:  
Kindergarten and 1st grade clinics:  $30
2nd grade travel:  $220 
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade travel:  $295 

Please note, there is a  $30 US Lacrosse registration fee which is processed as separate transaction within registration. 

Volunteer Positions:
The Chester Mendham Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization. In order to keep the fees down, as we have over the years, this program depends on volunteers.  Please volunteer to assist the league.
